Default whats wrong with 98-02?

Hey guys, I was looking through a Consumer Reports mag last night for all the 2005 cars. It has the sections about used cars to buy and used to avoid. Under the avoid was Bonneville 98-02. Its on the list for having a larger amount of repair incidents than others. What are the specifics for that generation of Bonny?

Thanks

jeff

LOL. It'* doable. It was alot of bolts and alot of things to remember where things went. Opp'* Got everything together forgot to put some tube to the TB. wouldn't run. I started hittin the dash. Thought the complete process was a faiure.

You can do the intake repair/replace for 150$ yourself, shop prices will vary greatly.
I've never believed a single thing that Consumer Reports has said, it'* more misleading than anything.
