I do have to agree here. I sort of cringe when I see that wing but as far as body cladding? Have you thought of trading that car for an SSEi? That way you can leave a 2 wheel 20 foot burnout even in stock form. No need to make it look fast.

First of all guys, I don't think its his car. He just saw it on the way home from his description.

As for the wing, NO! I'm not even going to go into this, just understand that it looks absolutely retarded and doesn't do anything for the car so why have it?

Also, his car has a few defects he could have fixed before wasting money on a wing. Note the paint on the roof chipping away. Dirty wheels as has been noted. Those dual windshield wipers which are pure garbage. I feel bad for this bonneville. It'* parts should go to a better place...
So please find it again and get his left rear quarter panel, his front and rear bumpers and his hood for me so I can make my car perfect at the cost of a bonne being partially molested.

I know everyone is saying that they don't like the wing, but if it makes you happy, then that'* all that matters. It is YOUR car, and you can do anything you want to it. That'* the whole point of modding, make your car into something that makes YOU happy.

Ok I agree with moding your car to the way you want but there are phonies out there that will add wings to their car because they believe it makes them look cool to other people.

Nobody said anything good about your car, or one person did?

Bud, you asked us about the Aluminum factory on the trunk lid. That'* what we're responding to.

We LOVE Bonnevilles. As such, by default we love your car. Most of us just don't love that wing.

Let'* cool down a bit. Please. Your sentences were run together pretty well and it took me a couple reads through to hope I understood what you meant.

I've been asked by a couple members about what some people were saying when it was run on and unclear. They told me I had a good knack for reading run on'* etc. Please..take it as misunderstanding. The consensus around here is known after your first thread. Most dislike the wing.

Personally I think you found one that is the right size for the car. Proportionally it fits well. Many members have done stuff that I would not. I prefer my car to look and sound stock, and perform as if it were on steriods.

One of the great things about this forum is we agreee to disagree and not get upset about it.

I don't think you get it. Most of us here are after the same thing, a nice looking car ---> hence why we got bonneville'* A lot of the people here have done very original things to their cars, we have to because the aftermarket for the bonneville is small (except for the engine). We are in no way against customization, we are probably one of the most custom car clubs out there (maybe).

Its not that we are against wings, but we PREFER parts that add to the car, not take away from it. The only thing that wing will ever dream of doing is looking good up there, and 99% of the people on the forum do not think that it even does that.

Its not performance related (but I hope you know that, and I think you do), we don't think it looks that good, so we don't see any purpose for it. In our eyes it only adds weight and takes away from the looks.

But it is your car. Feel free to do what ever you wish. I would rather someone have a backbone and not do what everyone else is doing, but this is just the logic of it.
