Default Bonneville build sheets

Guys

I was reading a while back about build sheets......Has anyone ever found the factory build sheet hidden in their 1992-99 bonnevilles :?: If so, where....

There was a bit on a corvette site about finding it in a tiny hole in the engine compartment You had to pick it out with needlenose pliers
I found one under the back seat of my 1978 TA a million years ago......

Has anyone gotten a buildsheet reprinted at a pontiac dealer( in the US or Canada?)

I was going to try at the original selling dealer of my 1998 SSei ( Keith Pontiac in Okotoks, Alberta ..yes it'* a real place!!!!!!! It'* just south of Calgary......

I have only had this car for a month and a half...so far I have put in M1(10w30) and a drop-in K&N filter element....The car has only 72,00 kms(43,00 miles) just like new

I hate the tires that are on it....Goodyear RSA'* they feel "square when you 1st start out in the AM I have had them balanced and they are new......I still feel a vibration and a roughness( if that is a feeling!) on the highway. It doesn't matter if the car is in touring or performance mode.......any thoughts?
Maybe I should put some other brand on....Yoko Avid T4'* were pretty good on my 1992 SSei.......any body have a fav....

There'* a discussion about this going on right now over in the Oldsmobile Owners' Email List.

What you more commonly find is not the Build Sheet but the Broadcast Sheet. Either way, you'll find codes for the options for that car, the day it was built, other good stuff like that.

Exactly _where_ you find it varies wildly. Ones that I have found myself were:

-- Inside driver'* door: '86 Pontiac Sunbird (Lordstown, OH plant)
-- Under back seat cushion: "84 Buick Regal (Flint, MI plant)

I've heard of others stashed over the top of the glove box, inside a driver'* seat cushion (possibly only a body/trim sheet), inside a trunk lid, behind the computer in the footwell, and (on a Corvette) over the gas tank. In a photo of a '62 Olds Starfire on the assembly line in the fantastic new book "The American Automobile Factory" (you _must_ buy this book ) you can _see_ the build sheet sticking out of the inner liner of the trunk lid.

They could be anywhere. Have fun looking. If you find yours, tell us!

Nope! not under the trunk lid carpet..........I just looked!

We need to hear from someone else with a 1998..........

Maybe it was a contest with the assembly line guys to see how many different places they coud put it

Still hate my tires.......

Look in the trunk lid itself. Mine was there and it would be logical that the owner of the 94 pulled it out and left it in the trunk. It was an option list actually two lists.

Would there be a "build sheet" for a 91?

If so... any idea where they'd hide it?
The car has been in the family since new, so I doubt it was removed.

Tires? Toyo Proxes TPT. I love 'em. Directional tread.

Build sheet? Mine said "Everything".

Is that normal?

The RPO code thingy is a printed sticker that'* stuck to your spare tire cover (or maybe elsewhere) with "DO NOT REMOVE" printed on it, etc. That'* supposed to stay there.

The Build Sheet or Broadcast Sheet is paperwork for the assembly line, a loose printout that was taped to the car or hung on it somehow, and was supposed to be discarded before delivery. Frequently it'* stashed out of sight somewhere inside the car instead.
