Cummins is the way to go.

What high miles per gallon are you getting with it? Around 21MPG?

wow, thats sweet! That is one killer ride for sure! My friend has a '98 Ram 2500 with like 300k and that thing still moves PRETTY well. Dodge sucks with gas engines but they sure as hell know how to make themselves one HELL of a diesel. Plus those things don't like EVER seem to rust. Galvanized steel?

Anyways, nice choice. Too bad about the bonne tho.

I think I'd be looking to tow vehicles out of the ditch when the snow comes. Better to pay you a few bucks than wait several hours for a towing service. I know of a few who do that around here, especially when the lake effect stuff shows up.

(Edit - and barley? You have barley in your truck? Gonna add some hops and make some home made beer? )

I've been averaging 18-22 mpg with a steady mix of highway and city driving....better than the Duramax and Powerchoke'* could ever hope for....

That banks kit is badass...but my wallet isn't that deep (yet) and on top of that, I wanna dyno the truck stock and get some numbers before I start doing power mods....Right now I'm all about turbo noise and MPG hehehe.

I'm gonna drag some cars out of the ditch with it, that'* for sure.....well assuming that it'll actually snow....

Barley = mmmmmmmmmmmm beeerrrrr.......

John - Dodge doesn't make the diesel....Cummins does, it'* a contract deal....well....for about 2 more yrs I think, then the contracts up, Dodge will go with Mercedes Diesel and trans, and I think Ford is getting the Cummins......I think International maybe **** out of luck after that......
