Best Gas Station?
I talked to my mechanic yesterday about my new used bonneville and he said that I shouldn't use BP gas because they put additives in that corrode the engine. Now, i'm a proud progressive and i have read that BP invests a lot in renewable energy so i usually use their gas. Does anybody have any insite on this?

Shell has caused several problems with GM fuel sending units. They've actually had to pay for repairs. This has happened nationally, and in particular regions (south FL was last I think?). As a rule, I just stay the hell away now.

amoco 87 gets me my best mileage by far......
the standard quality of fuel seems to be dropping overall in my opinion.......my dad sees way more injectors that need to be cleaned now more than ever.

I stick with Mobil 1, or Kwik Trip in the midwest. Car always runs nice on those.
EDIT: BP has always been good for me too. Both cars got some damn good milage/power on it on the way to Canada in spring.
