Mo Boost finally
Finally got the new pulley and CAI installed. CAI is not finished as I'm awaiting a K&N filter yet, but for the time being I'm using the "top notch" Autozone $24.99 special. WOOHOO. REady to get flamed for getting the 2.4 inch pulley, but I they were out of 2.5'* at Pulleyboys, so I went with what I could. So far so good. I get some KR but no more than I used to before the mods, so that'* good I guess. All I can say is 2nd and 3rd gear pick up effortlessly now. 40-100 never came so quick. I'm a happy camper.

Maybe I'll just have to go for a 2.4 instead??? 2.4 and 2.5 THAT big of a difference with KR?

In order to run a smaller pulley than a 2.5 you should make you're engine breaths better. CIA and full exaust with headers. If you produce a lot of boost you want you're engine breath freely or else it will be strained; and you could, not likely, but could pop a piston.

It doesn't have anything to do with headers (which aren't available for the 92-95), but we do have more efficient manifolds. It has to do with spinning the M62 faster than it was designed, and getting into it'* inefficient zone where you're producing more heat than boost.
Pop a piston? I've been running 12 psi for over a year now. And I've yet to see an L67 pop a piston for ANY reason.

Heard it on clubgp. Some of those guys are questionable and i'm still new to this supercharger thing so i'll beleive almost anything I read. But when I read it I thought, hmmm... people throw nitrus on these and you're telling me I'd pop a piston running a 3.25" on a series 2? Rriiiight.
