Default what 2000+ gm cars had the 3.8?

so.... ive got to get a job down here and i just got called in for an interview for a 30k job. and it got me to thinking. my car is a money pit. and i should think about getting a new car. (im not selling this car or trading it. unless its to someone on the forum who will take care of it) but although im thinking of just trading to a newer park ave ultra with a sunroof and onstar, preferably jet black i was wondering what all cars came with the 3.8? i know the bonnie the park ave the regal impy ss what others? i might end up getting the newer impala too with atleast a 3.9. but i cant stand the seats in those cars. (no offense to the 07+impala owners)

thank for the info guys. and suggestions are welcome. im all for the old people features. dic, steering wheel controls hud etc. im not sure im willing to give up the dic.

You can toss in the Grand Prix and the Monte Carlo.

grand prix 97-09, imp police 2000-05, all i can think of.

i don't really care for the seats in my 08 imp but it has the same power as the L67 with the 3.9L and much more torque on take off and while you are already going. 90% of torque available from 1500 RPM - 5500 RPM

Im thinking b/c the 3.8 is a pretty decent engine and comes in both turbo and non turbo.. Unlike the 2.7L engine that dodge/chrysler have in their cars that they put in alot of them and pretty much 85% of them went bad before the warranty expired and they wouldn't even issue a recall on them..

Default Bonnevilles

I am a Bonneville man. Had them since the early 90'*. I believe they had the 3.8 turbo up to 2003. The standard 3.8 should go through 2005. Beware of plenum leaks. Other that that, great engine. And I love my 2005 GXP (V for 2 mpg difference. I would go that route.
