First snow...
Woke up this morning and everything was covered in about 5 cm (2 in) of snow! Since this is my first winter with this car, I thought I would take it for a ride. The car said -9 out...yikes!...and everything was glare ice.
I now know why you need to get snow tires! I managed to keep the car on the road today, and saw several others in the ditch - but the stock 17" tires that come with this things DEFINATELY will not take me through the winter!
Now the car is totally covered in salt! Now that I have tried her out in winter driving conditions...I REALLY want summer to be back!
I dont want to think about the 4 more months of this cold and snow that we have to live through! Anyone in the warm climes of the south want to hire a slightly used Canadian with a damn nice car??

You can have the cold! I dont want it. I was in Thunder Bay Ontario this week on business and it was nearly 0F! BTW, I rented a 4 x 4 (got a 04 Toyota 4 Runner with only 145km on the clock - i was the first renter) and really 'broke it in'
Anyway...after feeling that cold, I knew it wouldnt be too long before it came south!
Are you in one of those areas in NY that gets the BIG DUMPS of snow? How did the Bonne handle it?

We get hard sometimes with large snowfalls. Syracuse gets it worse due to lake effect snows. I guess I will find out this winter how my Bonnie handles in the winter. Only had it since last July. 15" tires and no traction control.

Something was wrong with the picture today though...here I was with my Bonne that I usually keep very, very clean - and it was covered in salt - and I was sitting on my boat in the marina getting it ready for winter!
As much as I love to ski and snowmobile, I sure like summer, boats, HOT women, and clean cars!!
