Default paid too much or not

after owning my 01 bonneville for a couple of weeks now,its seems to be a good car, however with such high mileage for the year 170000,was 2600$ too much for it ,its a se in really good shape, lots of highway miles, but just wondering if I could ever get that out of it,with the miles. This is my first bonneville and did not price any before buying this one,so if anyone is up on what these are going for with higher miles let me know.As with my work I might have to unload it and a couple more real soon thanks

well I wont tell how much your car is worth but will give you some websites to go to to compare/check your car value.

autotrader.com

kbb.com

edmonds.com

nada.com

ebay.com

compare your car to what you find at these sites.
If you do sell your Bonneville, I hope you buy another

if your car runs and drives with no problems...and the paint is in good shape...interior is in good shape...tires are good

than I would say you got a good deal for the car. But if your looking to flop it than $2600 may be too much to some people'* eyes and just right to others.

It'* all in the eye of the beholder.

Todd.

Condition has a lot to do with it. Recently a buddy picked up an 01 SSEi loaded with a bad transmission for $700. Labor to swap and the part itself aren't that expensive if you are doing your own work.

Personally for me, that is a high price, but I do all my own work and buy peoples problems to fix and sell as good cars. it really comes down to is it a good value for you?

Seeing as how you cant seem to get out of a tranny shop these days for under $2g'*.......There ya go. If the engines smooth and the tranny shifts clean, just keep your fluids changed regularly and you'll get your $2600 out of her.

Not everyone (including me) has the space, equipment, knowledge, and help to just change out a transverse tranny on a weekend while socially killing a 30 pack Bill. (Ya, I'm jealous)
