Default seafoam in a carbureted motor?

As part of my very early midlife (mid-20s?) crisis, I got my Bonneville up and running again. I was wondering if anyone had any tips, tricks, or reviews for running seafoam through a carbureted motor.

Tax return will buy me new rims (14" steelies with wire wheel hubcaps FTW! ) and new tires. If seafoam gets the crud out and gets her running smoothly, she'll make a fabulous summer toy! Otherwise, she'll need a new carburetor, more than likely. :(

On my Camaro, I just poured it down the carb slowly while it was running and kept the throttle open enough so it wouldn't stall, then I let the car sit for about 5-10 minutes and restarted it and took it out for a spin.

If the idea is to clean the carb, I'd put the seafoam in a half empty gas tank and run it through that way.

Otherwise, yeh, pour it slowly down the carb to clean out the intake.
