I had my ac checked because it doesnt cool while driving in the city, but once i get on the expressway it blows cold....

well shop at the dealer said the problem was from overheating, car runs a bit warmer in city driving than at the expressway.....so im thinking maybe its the thermostat... check it out there is no stat..... maybe water pump or radiator... someone please help.

Say what??? There'* no T-stat in it? Your car shouldn't be heating up ( or warming up for that matter ). Easiest way to check the water pump is the weep hole on the pump itself.. ( not always but usually ) usually when the pump is going.. there'* water comin out of the pump. If that'* not it.. then you may have a clog somewhere in your coolant system .. ( Heater core?? )

Get that checked my a professional to find out exactly where it is, then decide whether you want to do it yourself or let them do it.

What temperature is your car running at when stopped or idling? The A/C should still work when the car is stopped. It could be many things, but let'* start with the temperature.
