He said that they really can't match the paint to the rest of the car because it'* black. He said with other colors they will have multiple shades from the factory they can use for matching, but with black it'* black.
I'm glad they'll be fixing it.

That was exactly what I was thinking, but since they are being good about it I didn't want to sound like a bitchy customer I didn't ask.

Well I did get a good sunlight look today and it really isn't very noticeable, but since they offered to try and fix it I'll take advantage. Here'* how it looks under the halogens which do make it look quite worse than it looks in daylight.

that....... is NASTY!!
Something tells me that you wont be getting this squared away unless they paint the hood dark brown.
No amount of blending/fading is going to help your situation IMO.
Good luck, and let us know how it works out.

Believe me, it'* not as bad as it looks. I've looked at it many times since yesterday. I looked today before lunch when we had a break in the clouds and the sun was straight up above and I noticed it, but I'm sure anyone that didn't have it pointed out probably wouldn't have. When I took that picture tonight it really amazed me how bad it looks under the halogens. The fenders have always been the worst part of the car for looking brown, so if they can just do the fenders and blend it by the doors I think it will be virtually unnoticeable. I should take a shot including the front bumper because even under the lights you can hardly tell the difference between the hood and front end. it'* just the fenders that stick out like a sore thumb.
