Very nice! So, this L32 will now have a more awesome cam to go with its new trans? What else is being done? Aren't the rockers modified 1.9s?

Jumped back on the car tonight. The trans is ready to come out once the new trans has been checked out. I'm at the point of lowering the subframe and the trans is out in a couple of minutes. There'* only two bolts partially holding it to the motor.
Pushed it up the driveway (yes by myself)

A little tired tonight. Neighbors want to go out for dinner, sounds like a plan. I'll pick up a trans filter while out and finish prepping the trans. Install is likely for tomorrow night.

I'm out for dinner
Got back from the Chowder Pot (Yeahhhhh), picked up the trans filter. Would you believe it didn't fit snug in the collar? The blind pilot bearing tool made quick work of removing the old collar and a large socket and rubber mallet installed the new one like butter. Filter now fits nice and snug like it should. Pan went back on and trans is wheeled over to the side for the night.
At this point it'* lower subframe and pop the old trans out, put the new trans in place and bolt it back up. The starter, axles diff bracket etc etc will go in and then the subframe will pop back on. Hopefully with new bushings. I think they are that for that style subframe.
Potentially I could be starting it up Monday/Tuesday.

To the untrained eye, you may not know that something is out of place in those last couple pictures. If you turn the converter upside down to pick up the other half of the input shaft. I'm gonna pull out the JB Weld and put this trans back in. Then keep the super trans for myself. Superglue might not hold, but JB Weld is the way to go.

Subframe back in.. before it went in.. flex to TC bolts went in, starter, inspection shield, axles, you name it.. it was done before the sub went back in.

I need to connect one endlink, tighten the balljoints, reconnect abs sensors, bolt the ps cooler loop to the subframe, ps rack to subframe, then it'* reassemble the top end and figure out that coolant hose.

$50 for a ride around the block ... who wants to see what it can do?

One comes off a T from where the oil pressure sender would be and the return line is tapped into the oil pan in the front.
