Not reverse thread, usually pretty tough to get out. Put some penetrating oil on it, then drive for a day. Put some more on when warm, then let the car cool. Then try again.
Use anti-sieze compound on the new one if it didn't have any when shipped. Just a LITTLE.

Its a right hand thread.... If reinstalling the same sensor use a little Anti sieze on the threads...
If its a new sensor look for a graphite looking coating...
Note.... Do not use Graphite on the threads...

I just finished doing mine.
The strut tower brace (if you have one) is a good thing to take out. Once that'* done and you have an O2 socket,standing on the passenger side pust away from you. One good push and it should crack loose,providing you used enough penetrating oil.
Socket........10.89 at Advance........money well spent!!!!!
