OK. I always thought the SS meant Super Sport so when you put the E in the you got Super Sport Edition. I kinda figured you all discussed the trim level meanings already.

If you go to my website, click on Bonneville, and click on the timeline link, you'll see what I have so far for these abbreviations. Sounds like I may have to go to pontiac and ask them for confirmation. Disclaimer: I know there is incorrect info on the timeline....but pretty close for the most part. Still working on it.

Somewhere, buried in all these posts, are the answers to the accuracy on the timeline....HOWEVER, I can gaurantee you there was no SLE in '93. I have the '93 owners manual that lists all 93 models....and it ain't there! I have some minor discrepancies in models, engine, trannies, and the exhaust isn't complete, plus I have to fill in 00-03. I'll keep plugging at it, and I think I'll just keep a progress note at the top of the page. I hadn't intended to post it yet, but I finally gave in. I need everyone to look at it and give me feedback before we give it our 'blessing'
