Default averaged 33 mpg!

remember my question about the gas guage going past F? well someone said to just go by the miles traveled and refill the tnak and check the amount, so i just refilled(havent driven since the trip) and after a 215 trip i only needed 6.5 gallons, i did the math and thats about 33 mpg! so in theory i could pull off almost 600 miles per tank

Good job. Staying 65 and under?

Maybe you can get near 600 off a tank but it gets scary once needle hits red. It fluctuates a lot there and sometimes you could of sworn you had more when its just about on the last hash mark.

had thecruise at 62, 65 wasnt fuel efficient enough and 60 seemed too slow for a 65 speed limit, however at on epoint near the beginging of my trip i was on a road with a 55 speed limit, i was going 60, and everyone was passing me, shows how much ppl care about the speed limits

For me 55 was the same as 60, so I try for 60

Screw what people on the freeways think, put a big sign on your window that says

"Im Saving Gas"

well you can get better gas mileage, but you have to fill it with premium.

1600rpm at 73ish mph in 6th gear.

The nice thing about cruise on my 92 is that you can run 70 mph at 1900 rpm'* and I can get about 30 mpg on the freeway. Big car that gets the gas mileage of a Honda accord 4cyl. and a toyota camry 4cyl. and those jap. cars are so big in saving fuel economy. My ***.
