Here'* a few pics of my magnet placement:

It'* been 350 miles since I installed them.

I, HONESTLY can say that it seems to be shifting better. It'* not just me imagining things, or wanting to believe that it'* shifting better. At this point, I'm convinced they're working. Unfortunately I probably won't pull the pan to check the effectiveness. I'll just leave them on until the trans is totally done. Save that money and put it toward the rebuild.

I got nothing to loose at this point! Besides, what else am I going to do with the excess magnets?

Yep, that'* about how I imagined it Mark. So you were having tranny issues then? Because I started to get issues several weeks ago. I pulled the pan, did the fluid/filter and ordered these magnets. So far I haven't noticed the same exact TCC issues lately. Though I'm still having the same shifting issues at one certain point, though it'* pretty sporadic.

I'll probably be pulling my pan in a few weeks again to try and get even more old fluid out. I'll be sure to take pics.

Yes. My transmission has been slipping for about a year. It'* getting progressively worse - especially during city driving. The shifts between first and second and second and third were getting real mushy. After installing the magnets, the shift between first and second has gotten a lot stiffer. Second to third isn't all that hot, but a little better. If the $10 spent on the magnets nets me three extra months out of the tranny, I'm a happy man! With 170,000 miles on the car with the original tranny (and never had a flush), I've got NOTHING to complain about. She'* done her duty.

I'm glad your shifts seem to be getting better from these magnets! My first to second is very mushy and slow sometimes, but that'* when I'm at or close to WOT, which is not very often at all. Maybe I should get more magnets for my pan!

Let'* not run around screaming "all hail the magnets and their magical ability to cure trans issues" If the magnets helped..that must have meant that there was a LOT of metal particles jambing up the internals.

That'* all I'm assuming these have done Bill, just grabbing a lot of the crap that would otherwise get back into the trans. At 170K with no flush Mark probably has a good amount.
