Default Anyone used Torque?

Anyone else used this? Its an app that runs on Android, iPhone, and other smartphones as well. Just bought it today for $5, along with this:

Amazon Amazon

I got it for $21 on a deal, but this is still awesome, and you are seeing this correctly, its an OBD2 Bluetooth adapter for $25 shipped.

This communicates with your phone with this app:

https://market.android.com/details?i...l.torque&hl=en

Scroll down for screenshots. It runs on my phone and Kristina'* 10" tablet. Allows you to see live data, set up a custom dashboard with dials and gauges, scan for and clear service engine codes, and more.

I just drove around the block real quick after setting up, and it really is pretty awesome.

I got the free version of the app, and I bought an ELM 327 on ebay a couple days ago. It looks pretty cool, and if it works good, I'll definitely buy the full version of the app.

I was using the GPS speedo on it while driving to my parents' yesterday (4 hour highway drive) as my speedometer is about 5km/h off.

Rev is what you would download on iPhone/iPod. $40. No free version (unless you jb your device and download a cracked version).

Uses WiFi devices instead of bluetooth.

I have it. I had that adapter and sent it right back. It was slow, and didn't connect all the time. I went with a KIWI bluetooth adapter and it'* much faster and connects every time.

You sure it wasn't a defective adapter. Mine is spot on and hasn't given me any issues connecting in any of my cars.

I'm sure it was a bad adapter. And that'* the problem. Those are low quality. I'm on the torque forum and there are many stories about those adapters not working right. The KIWI is one of the most recommended. Watch the readings close. You may find there is a lag on the data that'* being displayed.
