Default rpo wrong?

ok here is the story im going through my wifes grandmas 1995 buick lesabre pro codes and i found a problem. it says it has the FE1 suspension which is right cuz it ride like a boat nice and soft well i was going through my bonnevilles rpo codes and it says i have FE1 suspension also but my car reads totally different like night and day different. how can this be if my rpo says i have the soft ride but i dont?

The rpo isn't wrong the spring rates might be different!

i found another one it says i have AG1- split bench um i have buckets? but it says as1 - split seat front? would that maybe mean buckets?


o and i have the 140 amp alt and the buick has 105 amp and they buick has way more options then i do would that car have the 140 amp alt?

well L27 here is the story....


there are 5 different spring rates for each suspension level...so the buick could have the softest FE1 and you could have the firmest FE1, seats also make a BIG difference

as for the seats, your car eventho is a SLE may have had an option package that had the split bench, when the SLE package was added the bucket seats went in

and finally the 140 amp......it really doesnt matter how many features and options are in the car.....Look at Jrs3800....he has a Barebones 95 SE and has the 125 amp Alternatior stock

The RPO'* don't lie. But GM'* definitions for certain things is not exactly what you'd expect.
