Tire Choice -- with pics

I have the Douglas XT'* on my Olds 88. Came with the car and look pretty new. My only complaint is the are "howlers", kinda like an open lug tire on a truck.I can hear it even with the windows closed. Wet grip seems to be lacking also. Easy to wash out the front end on wet roads even at moderate speed. Wet traction poor, I can easily break them loose on wet pavement. They can be a good choice if your on a tight budget. I also question there ability for prolonged, high speed highway driving. Looking foward to upgrading both tires and wheels in the near future. Currently running the drab OEM alloy wheels.

I compared the Goodyea Viva II and the Douglas X-Trac II and the Douglas by far were much better looking and much more aggressive looking. I wasn't too impressed by the Viva II'* I had before.
So I went with the Douglas X Trac'*
BTW... Does douglas not have a website? I can't find it anywhere.
