Default 1st tune-up!

My Bonnie is getting her first tune-up today since rolling out of the factory(besides an air filter last year)...i can't wait to see what kind of difference it makes

anyone think there will be a huge gain in performance?...i'm already guessing the gas mileage will be be alot better: )

not sure exactly what all they are gonna do..but i'm guessing plugs, wires and coil packs.

No gain in performance. Just returning "lost" performance if it wasn't running tip top to begin with.

trans fluid will make a difference definitely, new air filter, proper air in the tires, new oil, add a can of six cylinder formula stuff called "RESTORE - 6 CYLINDER" (it'* like $5-$8 at like a wal mart), and that should help some.

maybe some octane booster, too?

I'll second that, no logical way it could increase performance or even restore lost power.

Don't change the coil packs. There is no need unless they are clearly broken and if they are..your car will run horribly.

Plugs
Wires
Fuel Filter
O2 (AC Delco only)
PCV
check belts

Check your vacuum lines too. I did all those and noticed a little difference, replaced the tensioner and 2 bad pulleys, noticed a little more difference, dropped the tranny pan and got a little better performance. But 40 cents worth of vacuum hose doubled any improvements I saw anywhere else.

That'* all you should be able to tell. Those aren't performance mods...only power restorers!
