Yukons are sweet rides. when my brother was looking for a large SUV I talked him
into looking at and buying a Denali and he loves it. Now he and his wife fight over who drives that or the explorer.
funny thing is he has yet to let Me drive it.

If you're GTP was still stock that Denali could keep pretty close to it. I think they run mid 15s, 0-60mph around 7.3 seconds. Those 6000s are no joke.

I'd say 04 GTO for about $24k and keep bonnie for winter.. But that'* just me. I love our Yukon, but i'd rather have a car for a daily driver personally.

Ryan, afraid of a muscle car that turns?

At the auto show, my dad, bro, and I fell in love with a red GTO. My dad was really close to getting one. He has a bored out Chevy 350 putting out WELL over 400HP he will eventually put in an old Chevelle or something, so we will have a muscle car in the family one day in the future.

But I didn't realize those big vehicles were so quick. I know they are powerful, but mid 15'* is amazing in a vehicle of that size.

Yeah they haul, having a muscle car derived powertrain helps. Just wait till you got it WOT! 99ish MPH limiter sux, but it'* a truck, you don't wanna be doing high speed runs..

Well, all good things must come to an end I guess.....And it looks like you and her have quite a few good memories. Guess it'* just time to move on, and you won't be diappointed with the Yukon in the least. Much rather have a GXP or GTO over the Yukon, but you can't win them all, also have to look at the usability of your investment.
