You do realize that STOP signs mean stop, right? Interesting parenting technique; letting your child break several laws for no apparent reason. Why would you even think of trying 0-60 in a neighborhood? Oh that'* right, because you're barely a teenager. I am not the slightest bit impressed.

Okay Okay first off welcome to the site as your a new member.I am not sure that many of us are impressed with it as it was illegal but we have all done something that was out of reason. This member is still young one of the youngest and has a passion for cars as do we all.I we do not condone underage driving on public roads or any other illegal activity but to each there own. Please try to keep it civil and calm with other members I understand your cause for concern just please try to be a little more pleasant about it as the rest of us have.We have expressed our concerns in a nice manner and we would greatly appreciate it if you would to welcome to the site enjoy your self post an intro thread and maybe some pics of your 97 silverado or cheyenne Thank you

I' watched the video several times as I decided whether to leave it. First off, the video skews that stop sing'* angle as I believe it was twisted a bit to begin with. IMO, it faced the street coming into the main drive he was on. This is a private neighborhood for those who didn't realize it. It may have broken a Covenant rule, but not the law. His references were to 0-60 were only to assimilate what we say in the Forum. And similar to his statement of "thought I was going to take it out on the "real" road". The only time he really gave it any acceleration, he backed off before he even neared the top of first gear. In a SE model, that isn't 30MPH. The thread outlines a young boy'* experience as a newer driver, and his Dad feeling he was competent to take it no further than 2 blocks from the house in any direction. Just my opinion, If you can't make a positive comment about it, you ought to leave it alone. Your not the parent and why ruin a kid'* experience. My Father did the same with me as many of you. And I assure you, it wasn't on a private Drive.
