Tech 2 in MN
Does anyone have access to a Tech 2? I need to program the keyless entry receiver in my wife'* Buick. Or does anyone know a dealer who will do this for a reasonable price? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think you need a Tech 2 to program the remote. I can program a remote for my 98 SSEi by just using a fused jumper on the OBD connector under the dash. Maybe the procedure is about the same for the Buick.

Check Techinfo/Electrical/Accessories and try our procedure. If the locks respond to the jumper, it should work. A fused jumper is just as a safety. A paperclip will work.
