Dire need of information
The person in whom i bumped into the other day (84 Toyota Pickup) just called me claiming there was 1350 dollars damages to his truck, he says it bent the bumper mounts, also bending the frame. There is no way this happend , as my bumper (right above the SSE logo, there is no damage done, there was a scratch and a small indentation, still there, only painted over.
At what speed will my dual airbags deploy at?
How much can a plastic bumper take befor cracking at all, and pushing out on the sides?
Does this look like a damaged bumper to you?
And just for comparison, this picture was taken the day after i purchased it
My abs did not pulse at all either, and it is in correct working order
Also i slid into him on gravel.
THANK YOU FOR THE INFO!!

It'* doubtful his truck is even worth that much. Tell him you'll call your insurance, they'll call his and have it totalled and give him less money than he asked you for. He'll shut up if he wants to keep his truck.

Was it HIM that called, or his insurance? Tell him your cousin is a fraud attorney, and you'll be filing a case against him if he tries any crap. Then tell him to get his estimate in writing. If you smell a rat, make sure he knows he'* going to court.

Did you file a police report? It might be beneficial to do that now. They'll have to inspect his vehicle. Old damage can be fairly obvious if you prep the officer. You should have done this at the scene.

We can't phone the police if there is not over $1000.00 damage done to any one vehical that is able to be seen by the naked eye. I haven't done up a police report, yet it took him 6 days to contact me.
