I have a different problem. My trunk doesn't open anymore!! The key does not turn the lock for some damn reason, and when I press the trunk button on the door, it still doesn't open. But if someone presses the button while I press the trunk down, it will pop up. Anyone know what I can do to fix this??? Please help...this is a PITA!!!!

sounds like the deck lid is adjusted too tight on latch ?? if you push down it relieves some pressure on the latch. just a thought. :?

How can I fix that? It never did it before. For now 95% of the time I won't be able to open the trunk unless someone else is with me, and that isn't very often.

When you open the trunk, look up at the two corners of the deck lid while it is open. You should see the adjusters. They would have to be tweaked in a little, they are threaded directly into the sub structure of the deck lid. They look like rubber stoppers black in color. I think this is what Bubba is referring to. Hope this helps a little.

Thanks! I'll check that tomorrow. Hopefully that'* one of the problems. But the key doesn't turn the lock, and that'* a different problem. The lock is seized or something. :?

I know, my brother hits it w/ a van, my bearings are getting worse, I still have a rust problem, and recently my trunk won't open. I think that'* the whole list as of now.

A least I'm still fast
