For 92-93 you could have ordered the SSE with the L67 Option... This was standard on the SSEi

1. it does have 2 belts on it.
2. it was able 2 keep up with a stock SSEi no problem with no mods
3. this 1 is to Hans. thats not necessarily true because i drove a 04 GTP Grand Prix and felt more power from my car than i did from the it.........

No offense to you at all here... Don't take this the wrong way..
1) If you have 2 Belts and the Blower.... Then this engine is not original to the car
2) Not sure how to answer this, as I have not seen what under your hood... But if your car is indeed supercharged then you should have kept up with a 92-93 SSEi no problem..
3) Off the line you might have had him and may have even left some space between the two of you... But buy the time the Series III hit the top end he'd be leaving you back bit
So is this car a swapped car? as it did not have the 3800 SC from the factory?

Two belts on All L67'*.
SC belt on the Series 1 is the inside belt, accessory belt is to the outside.
SC belt on the S2 is outside, accessory inside.
I agree with our esteemed retired Admin dude above. If it is an SE or SLE of 1993 vintage, it did not have the option of a factory installed L67.
If it'* an SSE, it might.
Pics of the car (badging, body cladding etc) would be nice, as would pics of the engine, your VIN, and the RPO label in the trunk on the spare tire cover.

The Vin he listed in another thread was 1G2HX--L
So this is an SE or SLE which was originally an L27

No. u missed what i meant when i said i raced the SSEi. i pulled from him untill he was about to my trunk and then he caught back up to me but couldnt pull ahead. But 2 be honest with you.....i really dont know if the engine was switched or not. i bought it from somebody that didnt even really drive it that much. When i first got the car it only had about 88K on it. but the suspension had went through hell. im still in the process of fixing it. but if it had a blower i would have seen it but i only see the normal intake but for whatever reason it has 2 belts. i hope that it isnt from another car or anything. no other GM engine has this design on it? ima get some pictures in a few days.
