It used to be an option to get a Supercharged SE or SSE, there was more SSE SC'* than SE'*. Only diffrence between a SC SE and a SSE SC is the SSE will have many more options and a boost gage, the SE didn't come equipted with a boost gage, among other things.

The difference is also in the body cladding and the fog lights. Also the timing was different. the only SE'* to have the SC were offered in 1995-1997, where as the SSE SC was offered from 1992-1993...maybe 1994. The SE'* had to have the SLE package (this was before it was a model). Take a look at my signature pic...it is a sleeper SE.

i.e
Kennginn, jwikoff = 92 SSE supercharged
ssesc93= 93 SSE supercharged
95BonnevilleSESC = 95 SE(SLE) Supercharged
96-97 had the SE(SLE) and SSE superchargers for options
97 was the last year for the option.
