1997....series 2 SSEi....and the cd can be fixed with a new aftermarket that doesnt cost 2 much. It looks and good shape, and BLACK!

the 97 for 178K the drivers seat looks really good, must have alot of highway miles.. and the problems with the 97 are easy to fix compared to the 94

I'd go 97. And it would be interesting because I justttttttt took out my perfect 97 radio.

but a new HU is pretty quick and easy.

The 97' is indestructable. Remember a dirty engine bay is a engine bay that doesn't get touched. That means the car never needs repair work. That alternator is OEM.

Remember a clean engine runs cooler, since it'* not insulated in so much crap.
I bought mine dirty and cleaned it...can't stand it that way.

like other said, go with the 97. CD players are cheap to get (<$100) and the trunk issue shouldn't be all that hard, and you can probably use Bill'* parts source to get the parts for that. Looking at the 94, for $205, which is what it was at when i looked, it might not be too bad of a deal, but you'd have to put more money into it it appears. The 97 you can drive as is.
