Default Steering Wheels and Adapters

i was thinking about buying a new steering wheel, because the stock one has the radio buttons but they dont work cuz i have an aftermarket stereo, but i was wondering -- is there some type of adapter i need for an aftermarket steering wheel? and if so what kind of adapter? Thanks for the help.

The PAC SWI or SWX is a little box that hooks into the wire that used to tell your factory radio what to do when the steering wheel controls were pressed.

If your new radio has a remote control you can program the box to send signals to the new radio via an led that you locate somewhere in front of the radio.

Then magically your buttons on the steering wheel work again.
