Default What'* the differences between Series 1 thru 3?

I'm looking at buying either a 2002 Bonneville SLE or a 2006 Grand Prix GT with the supercharger. I've seen the different Series monikiers on the engine covers and through out the forums and was just wondering what all is different between the motors and years. I'm sure this has been asked before, but have searched in vain for the technical info. Thanks, JB

While Pat (1993 SLE) is correct, you can also search the internet.
