...and I'm pretty happy.
Keep in mind I'm a long-time V8 guy so mileage was pretty much never a luxury I have had, lol...

anyway, in my 95 SLE, I got 25.2mpg'* in city/highway mixed driving with AC on pretty much non-stop and the gas pedal always a little farther down than it "should" be...

Is this about normal, good, OK, or what?

sounds about right, usually opening up your intake and exhaust will also increase your gas mileage if youre interested in that, although ive found that one often uses the other added benefits of opening those up too much, therefore offsetting any gas mileage benefits

25mpg with a heavy foot? Damn good, mate. Again, CAI with a high flow cat will increase that a little bit.. not to mention that the added power means you need to use less throttle for the same power.

Yeah, I definitely been hard on the gas getting used to the fun of a true sleeper...hehe...
I don't do any street racing, but if I did there would have been a mid 80'* IROC Camaro, a new TrailBlazer SUV, a Lincoln Mark8, and an "Intimidator" Monte Carlo SS that would have been embarrassed by the Pop-Pop-Mobile...

BTW, I did totally gut the factory airbox of all silencer parts and also opened up the inlet quite a bit without ruining the "stock look" of it, and added a Fram AirHog filter...I really don't care for the open conical filter CAI setups that I have seen, so the modded stocker will be staying for awhile...I wonder if removal of the factory resonator, but leaving the converter will help? My car doesn't have the "U" bend I've read about.
