SE=Sport Edition
SLE=Sport Luxury Edition
SSE=well thats just obvious...
SSEi=Super-Sport-Edition-inducted

it doesnt stand for anything, it signifies a Supercharger Bonneville.
Pontiac swears up and down it means nothing at all.

It officialy stands for ........

Nothing!! The "i" suggests "forced induction", aka "supercharged", but the staff got the word directly from Pontiac. The letters don't have any official meaning.

please dont confuse the orignal poster.....they mean nothing

the only trim that Pontiac clearly spells out is the SLE which stands for Sport Luxury edition

this has been gone over100000 times before

Its gotta mean something...otherwise it is just sport editon twice...

John do a search , its been asked 30 or more times...you will find that they mean nothing.....Willwren called Pontiac on the phone and we got the answers.....they are letters put together, that is all, except for SLE as i stated earlier
