Flicker (Flick'er)
Wow, I just discovered a pretty cool little trick. I've noticed of late that the word OFF pertaining to the Twilight Sentinel does not light up like the rest of the panel. So tonight, for no reason I just Flicked the panel where the word is and Presto! The light not only illuminated the word OFF but the word DELAY as well. In addition, the PLAY button on my steering wheel has also been out for a while; so I flicked and tapped it and bingo! Its working again too! So I'm not sure if I should be happy that I have full illumination again or upset the GM produces automobiles that require a "flick" to work correctly.

Had similar problems on the steering wheel of my 01 where they required the "flick" to illuminate. They eventually will not respond to flicks & remain dark.

Right, it'* a bad connection.
Bad connections are known to corrode and cause resistance, which in turn causes heat.... heat can in certain cases lead to fire.
Don't flick too much.. you might burn down your car.
