Got my new 4th gear clutches today.
Picked up a new pressure control solenoid. Looks like this is the reason for all the frustration.
Didn't really get to do any more work today. Finger is still bleeding. So I guess I'm taking a brake until next week.

I was able to go out and put the transmission back together. Here I have the planataries in place. However, after several failed attempts I realized my error. After I sat down again with the manual. I had the thrust bearing on top, and it should have been under.
The clutch pack is a real pain. I lined up all the little soldiers,
Then inserted the sprage. What a pain.
A huge thanks to sgp358 for his help. He told him how to use my old 4th gear input shaft as a tool for installing the clutch pack. Took a while to get it to work right, but I got it to work, and worked like a charm.
And finally, it'* all in.
I covered it up and now it has to sit until next week when I have off work again. I'm feeling much better now.

You taking meds for any pain right now Dan? Your last post seems a little "off".
That clutch pack is fun ain't it?

No meds. Ya, the pack was fun the first 4 or 5 times, then it was annoying. Flip it over and it would drop. Dang, start over. Took a while before I got the holding tool to hold real good.

Hey, if its still open, get some good shots of the parking rod actuator. For tech info anyway.
