Don't think I'm going to get done today. Dentist in the morning, and I have to take my son to the Dr. this after noon. But I'll get some work done.

Cam installs are pretty involved. Dan is actually ahead of the game because most of his top end parts will still be clean and won't take much to get ready for reinstall. He has springs on the engine from when he did the rockers. That saves the time and effort of swapping those and chasing keepers around the floor.

To give a brief idea of what he has left.
Pulling the intake
Pull the valve covers
Pull rockers off
Pull out pushrods
Pull out lifters (magnet helps btw)
Pull timing cover
Remove timing gears/chain
Remove cam
Slide in new cam
New timing set
Install timing cover
Install lifters
Install pushrods
Install rockers
Install VC'*
Install LIM
Install IC
Install SC
Install TB
Install fuel rail etc
Install HB and pullies
Install motor mount

There'* a lot left..but he'* a good way into it. Add on cleaning all the gasket surfaces and parts.. it'* not an instant thing. Plus I keep sending him PM'* to add on a few other small things he could do to make it a better install with more goodies.

My hope is to have everything stripped down today. I only have a hour or so here and there. But I will get all I can and post up more pictures. I'm sure I can get it done by Friday and have it running. I think I remove the P0300 already, but will have to check the tune.

Then after I get everything settled in I'll change the injectors in spring along with the MAF and throttle body.

Now I have to figure out how I'm going to do the transmission. I had planned to pull the engine then the trans. But now there'* no reason to pull the engine. Still might though just so I can clean everything up real good.
