Default Engine surging

My sister has a 99 or something around there GP, she was driving it the other day and her low traction light came on and the other light that says the traction control is turned off. Now when you are driving it and you get to about 54 mph and you are barely accelerating it suges until you get to 60 mph. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what this is?

Your torque converter locks up into OD at 48mph. Sounds like it'* having problems. Scan for codes. Then possibly flush the trans.

Well its not doing it anymore. We dumped in a bottle of sea foam with a full tank of gas, and she went to take it in today to get it scanned and nothing came up and its not doing it anymore. Who knows? With only 30000 miles on it?
