Looks like it might be kinda handy to have- I was looking at it cause I wanna drain out my PS fluid and not really sure how else I'd do it.

I had a similar hose back when I was into fish tanks. don't know what I did with it.
worked great for what I used it for but I don't know about PS fluid.
if you watch the video you can see you need room to shake it up and down
if it was to come out of the fluid while doing so it breaks the flow.

Do you have a Meijer nearby? If so, go to the automotive section, near the oil and drain pans, and they should have a hand operated pump. It'* red and black, with an inlet on top, and outlet on the bottom. I use that all the time, from pumping out PS fluid, tranny fluid to have less mess when I drop the pan, coolant from the radiator when I swap thermostats...lots of uses.

Ooo, thanks for the great idea, Archon! I think I'm definitely gonna go with that. It did occur to me that with how small the PS reservoir is, it'd to get all the fluid out with that shaky-tube thing. Thanks guys

You know, one time, I had to use a drinking straw to change SC oil..it was one of them fancy coiled up ones too...I dont Recommend evacuating PS fluid or anyother fluid under the hood like that though. I bought a thing from walmart, its a syringe with a 3/8" hose in it, I use it for everyhing, I found it in the Automotive department, cant remember its name now though
