Default Spark Plug Recommendations

My dad and I are going to change out our spark plugs in our bonnes soon he has a 94 ssei and i have the 94 sse what brands/models whatever would you all recommend? the same for both cars or different? i also have some taylor wires on the way for my car but my dad doesnt think they are worth it so he still has the original wires. anyways thanks!

His wires are ORIGINAL? Make him get new stockers, at least. AC Delco stockers should be great for yours. If the SSEi has any knock, consider some NGK TR55'*. The stock plugs are different on the two engines, I think.

well im not exactly sure if they are the original but he hasnt changed them in the 4 years hes had it. it was a single owner before him and she didnt really seem like she would do that unless a shop would do it? ill get some pics of his car and engine up sometime and maybe you can tell from that

Can i have some convicing comments on why he should get new wires? heheh hes kinda stubborn he likes to leave stuff alone if its working usually...i like to improve

Four years is long enough for a set of wires, IMO.

ok that sounds good hehe ill work on that hopefully ill get some time to do that this week i thought ac delcos would be what most people recommeded

Do not use platinums of any kind in the ssei. Being stock I would recommend AC Delco replacements and not worry about colder heat ranges. Change the wires also with stock replacements. Make sure you check your gap before putting them in even if they say pre gapped.
