Default Pain and Agony, I need comfort........

Today, when driving thru the forest where i live in my ´89 SSE, a Deer came jumping from the left out of no-where.
Of course I yanked the wheel to the right and rammed a 7 meter long and ½ meter wide log, and pushed i ½ meter with my left front wheel.

Damage Report:
1 chracked wheel
1 bended strut
1 broken spring
1 bended shaft
1 oil leaking engin

= Total Disaster

So now i'm talking to a guy about buying his '92 SSEi
Can anyone tell if its any good?

Best regards from a (for the time being) ex Bonnie owner.

Well...IMO it is a 15 year old car. There possibly could be rust, minor mechanical problems, blemishes and whatnot. It'* really hard to say. It depends on how well it has been cared for really. With a 15 year old car, expect some things not to be perfect.

Do you know how many miles it has? How much do they want for it?

Next time you'll hold on and stay straight. The first time is always tough because you react on instinct to avoid it and end up swerving and totaling your car anyway. I had a VERY close call a few weeks ago - missed a deer by inches going about 70. Sorry about the damage.

'92 is the best year (for the SSEi, NOT the SE) IMHO

I know the pain of hitting deer - I hit a whole HERD of them with my 89 SSE!!!! 1 straight up the middle, and two down the sides. Another time I hit one in the middle of the road already dead - launched my car over that thing. I fixed that car and it went another 100k miles to reach 318k miles when I sold it still running. Can you get the parts and fix it yerself? The 92 is nice, I had one of those too, but even my 01 doesn't compare to the 89. That was my favorite.

Good luck and I'm glad your'e alright.

Ya, I would hope the 01' would be 1000000x better than the 89'.

92'* are nice. I'd keep the 89 and fix it if I were you since they are fairly rare there.
