My priority is reliability. Once I'm sure I have a reliable vehicle that'll get me to work and whatnot, I can then worry about the other stuff as time/money permits
But, I also want her to be clean and pretty so I can brag a little.

I think the accleleration route is the best way. BUT reliability is a big factor also. It'* much more fun and it'* always nice to get the feel of freeing up horsepower. I like to to keep my cars looking stock on the outside and don't prefer to change that. Mine is gonna get a paint job soon and its gonna stay stock on the outside... to make it a sleeper.
PS... I think you should add a Acceleration/Reliability choice to the poll.

reliablility definatly....acceleration handeling and apperance all come in a mix, but if i had to choose one handeling would have to be it, you cant but something in a car if it isnt gona take it, dont wana go so fast and not be able to stop, make the turn, or look so goood and not be able to avoid that deer or some object on the road
