So sorry to hear and see it. I was looking forward to seeing your car at the Philly meet. Glad that you walked away from that one.

They are probably still back at the scene. I'm not reallyworried aout them. I takes hours to get them to come close to fitting.
I got the hood open. The Front TOG header and cross over are definitely toast but the engine and trans seem like they might be ok. A friend with a plasma cutter is going to come over some time within the next weekand were going to pull the engine/trans. I have a place to store it too.
I would like to get back into a bonny but it'* probably going to have to wait a while. I'm going to do some asking around and get a beater for now. I was thinking to find a UIM failed 95 SLE and pop that motor in there eventually.

Man, Mike, you nailed that pole. Were you unfamiliar with the road, or were the conditions poor for driving? It'* tough to see your hard work ruined, but at the same time I know I would just be happy to be in one piece. Take it easy, and don't worry about your car. You'll figure something out, and someday when you've got a nice engineering job and a pile of money, you can buy a fun car to tinker with.

Jeez, man. Thank god you are ok and I hope your head heals up good as new. Did you have a passenger?

That TB looks awfully close to the STB...

Yeah I was pretty familiar with the road. I pretty much just overestimated my handling and the dryness of the road not to mention it is not a very well lit area. Pretty crappy situation but it only gets better from here.

Not trying to be nosy, but how fast were you going when you nailed the tree/pole/whatever?
