As Bill said, 1994 was the SLE model, 1993, 1995-1997 was an SE model with an SLE H4U rpo (option group). 1993 SLE is correct in that 1995-1997 are the only years one could order an L67 in the SE, but in order to do that, one had to order the H4U option. My question to 1993 SLE is what your source of information is for the "6 cars made" with the SLE SC 40th Anniversary? I would like to know how many 1995 and 1997 SE/SLE'* were made with the L67. If you can verify your source, we can add it up in the techinfo section. My discussions with Pontiac Customer Service could not yield that information.

For clerification, the L67 powered SE'* did not come with a 3.06 ratio. They came with the F79 RPO which is a 2.97 gear ratio and a HD trans (1995-1996 had the 4T60-E HD, 1997 had the 4T65-E HD trans).

ssesc93 also has some good information. They did start in 1993 (as an RPO), and although the options included varied from year to year, ssesc93 and 1993 SLE both gave accurate accounts of what the option had...depending on the year.

Kudos to you guys, very knowledgeable!

1993SLE, I'd also like to know your source. Tim and I were both in contact with Pontiac some time ago on this very issue. They did not keep production records for the number of SC SE'* of ANY year.

If you have another reputable source, we need to verify and add information as Tim suggested.

93 SLE'* didn't look the same as SE'*, they had the honeycomb grille.

If you don't have a sunroof on a 93-95 you get the overhead console (which is nice to have!)

My bad, I should have pointed that out. The 1993 was the first to have the Honeycomb grill. In 1994, that grill was carried over to the SE and the SLE. I like it better than the 1992-1993 SE "cross" grill.

If the 6 SC SE'* in 97 with the Y40 option came from this topic:

http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...c.php?p=104285

It should be pointed out that Burgundy_Boat made the whole thing up as a joke, and recruited some of us posting in the topic to perptrate it.
It died before we cleared the air.

Even Pontiac doesn't know how many SCSE'* were built in any given year, much less with the Y40 option.

ok thanks a lot guys. the reason I asked this question was because a guys with a '99 SLE was telling me he had the supercharger and I have a '98 SSE, and if I don't have a SC then there was no way he could have one. just wanted to double check.
