Default Interesting......

so i went to lock the car today, and i have the horn set to chirp when the doors are locked....well today i lock the car with the remote, no chirp....

Try and lock it again no chirp....WTF....i go and look at the drivers door and its not compeltely closed....

so i completely close the door, and lock with the FOB...and chirp....

so it seems as the 00+ if a door is left open the horn will not chirp to let you know.....cool feature in my book

My 96 also does that. I found out one day was in a hurry and had my hands full hit the button nothing. So look the back door is still open. glad to know that, found out the Trailblazer does it to. That must be a messed up dodge(J/K) cuz my sisters Intrepid and my aunts Liberty both chirp even with the door open.

Certainly seems like it would be a nice feature.

Does your keyless work inside the vehicle? Mine doesn't, I have to be outside the truck for it to work...

Key in the ignition or not.

I guess I'll have to check the manual to see if there is something I need to do with the fob. Mine has never chirped when I lock the doors.
