shaved Handles?
anyone done it and if so i would like to see pics. also how do you go about doing it. i went to the autobody shop and said they could either just body fill over the existing door handle and sand it smooth or open the door panel from inside and weld a filler piece after removing my door handle itself and then filler the exterior of the door with body filler. wich is the best and most practical of doing it

The best way to do it is to remove the handle and then weld a piece of metal in there and then using body filler to fill the fine areas. If I were you, I wouldnt want about a pound of body filler sitting on my door. Also, the metal would be much more durable

definitley weld metal in there and then fill it in and make it smooth. Make it professional. If I can't sse tails I think I might shave the tails and put some vette tails or something in there. that would be pimp.

thats what i thought when he told me this. also with the paint job i am going to get it would be very noticable. i am going to get the moon blue which is almost identical to the color i got on my car now except very metallic and i am getting 3 coats of clear with silver flake in it. just have to wait till 4th of july to throw some firecrackers or an m80 on the hood to get insurance to pay for it. hehe. sshh don';t tell my insurance and with a 250 deductible it will be very cost effective.
