Default What is everyone'* GVWR?

I am trying to see how my SE compares with other Bonnevilles-SE, SLE, SSE, and SSEi'*.

My GVWR is 4,463 lbs. Does that mean that my car'* dry weight is approximately 3,463?

Mine came in at 3800 pounds with a half tank, both kids, and some weekend trip stuff. Would've been about 400 pounds heavier if I'd been in it. Lead foot.

Not too bad at all for a full size sedan... Damn shes a light one...

As for the 91 bonnie,

My GVWR is 4449 pounds...

My passenger rating is 1067 pounds

So my 91 comes in at 3382 pounds.. around 100 pounds lighter than the 95...

95 SE is the lightest and fastest model of Bonneville produced 90-current...just an interesting bit i thought i'd throw in.

Lightest and fastest of the NA'*, to be specific. The SSEi was a bit heavier, but more scoot!

Let'* see.....95 SE is the lightest.....then drop an L67 in.....what do you get?

That dosn't matter. They are still ighter than the SSEi'* NA or not. the SSEis have other things in them that still make them heavier. May only be by a little bit, but they are still heavier.

Hey Tam, what does the GVWR sticker on your door say? You may not have all the smog crap US cars get, either. I'd bet your car comes in lighter than a US 95SE....probably by about 50 pounds.

Tim'* 95 SE SC is probably only 50 pounds heavier than yours. It'* really only the difference in weight between your plastic upper intake and his SC.

The GVWR is marked on the door as 4856 lbs.

I weighed it and it tipped the scales at the local recycling depot at a hefty 3820 lbs !
It had a full tank of gas and nothing else at all in it. The gas makes up about 150 lbs of that. The spare tire is about 30 lbs.
For every 100 lbs you lose about one tenth of a sec in the 1/4 mi

It'* a damn good thing it has an aluminum hood and control arms.
Well it is loaded up with all the options.

My 79 firebird weighs 3450 lbs but it doesn't have T-tops or air conditioning.
My Jeep weighs 3600 lbs and it has two live axles with 4WD.

Wow and Tam was included in that weight. That'* a big difference in weight between the SE and the SSEi models.

Are the older 95 Bonne'* that much lighter than the newer 00 - 03 Bonne'* :?:

Or does the 350 lbs account for all the options :?: I only weight 150 lbs, light for a man, so no rude comments on comparing my weight to Tam'*

I'd be interested to know what the weight of an 00 - 03 SE Bonne is or a loaded out 95 SSEi version for true comparison.
