Good luck.

$23620 is the suggested retail value with 200 miles
$20635 is the private party value with 200 miles
$17825 is the trade in value with 200 miles.

good things to keep in mind.

The GXPs were well over $30,000 in 2005.

Default 2005 GXP

I bought my 2005 GXP in May of 2005 with 40 miles on the clock. The sticker was just over 39K and I paid 27K and change. If you have a GM card and any earnings you will be able to apply these earnings to the price and it should save you some more money. 25K is a good price. However, if they are desperate you might be able to sqeeze another 1000 or so out of the deal. Good luck with your purchase. I am really happy with mine.

I was offered a GXP (new) for 19k when it hadn't sold for 6 months. I've seen others here go for around that price.

Moving to General Chat. Please don't post non-mechanical topics in this section.

You need to check the in-service date through the service department using the VIN (run a VIS on it). After a certain amount of time on the ground, I think the warranty clock starts ticking whether it'* sold or not. I worked for GM, Ford, and Dodge dealerships, and I know that was the case with at least one of them, but I can't remember now which one(*)! I'll be hiding my own Easter eggs soon enough. Just a point to bring up, as that'* not the dealerships discretion, it will be up to GM rules as to when the warranty goes/went into effect.

I found a new one last week that is black and never titled but I couldn't get the dealer to budge below $27,000. If your interested I found a white one that has 7000 miles on it - dealer demo at Shepards in Illinois or Indiana (can't remember)?? The dealer wanted $23500 over the phone. That was pretty good but I didn't like the taupe interior. Look it up on autotrader.com.
