BRAKeZzzzzzz...
ive got a 98 Bonneville SE and I was rotating my tires and checked my brakes
The squealer pad as like 1/4-1/2" from the rotor.. How much longer should they last???
ive got any extra set of carbon-metallic fiber pads or whatever u call them..
I bought for 40$ at autozone.. Any1 know if these pads are good?? And Also,
I can put them on myself, and if the rotors are decent w/ no grooves, Is it necessary to get them turned????

No it shouldn't be necessary to turn the rotors if there are no grooves. I wouldn't hurt and it'* cheap to have it done, but it'* not necessary. I think your pads are the same or similar to what I have now. Mine are called "Wearever Gold" semi-metallic or something. I notice less brake dust. I hope they last longer than my last pads. They are supposed to.
