Default Got my exhaust done and black paint job done today.?'sss

Alright I got my dual exhaust tips and I took my car in for a black paint job today.

Love how the tips turned out and I cant wait to see my car in black.

The million dollar question. Think I'll be able to enjoy this for a while?

My car has 126,000 miles on it but 75% is freeway driven. Are these engines good for 200,000 miles?

I do have money set aside for usual repairs. You guys are Bonneville fans give me some confidence that I'll be able to enjoy my new look.

My 97 has over 200,000 and gets crazy gas mileage. I'd hop in it and take off cross country without even thinking about it.

I had a 1998 SSE with the same motor and tranny. The motor ran beautifully -the tranny slightly questionable, but nothing to complain about -I sold it with 180,000 miles on it for $3700. Only repair I did to the motor was replace the fpr (which was a safety recall so it was done for free).
The Series II plastic upper intake manifold is fairly prone to cracking, as I am sure you are aware of, but with 180,000 miles on it it was only showing the slightest bit of warping near the front side where it connected to the TB.

So in other words, keep an eye on your coolant and oil levels with weekly checks (or every time you fill up with gas) and you should be good for a long time (given you keep the maintenace up).

P.*. Can't wait to see the pictures -should look awesome no doubt.

I just like the big car Black paint job 2 exhaust tip look like on Mauraders and Impalas (94-96 whatever year it was)

My paint is ok, it actually looks way nicer in pics and like most Bonnevilles the paint by the window is peeing.

The paint jobs only going to cost me $325

Its the pro 3 from earlscheib. The website has a cupon. I got a car painted there before and they did a great job.

I put a load of miles on this car too. 3 years ago it had 85,000 miles on it, the intake cracked at 90,000 so that was replaced.

I still get 32 miles a gallon if I grandma drive it so seems my car is in nice shape. The last thing I'll probably do is get my speed limiter removed and get a tint.

Then I save and see If i wanna do real mods later. Ill change my sig as soon as I get my car back.
