Default raw fuel smell after getting on the throttle.

hey all. im just chiming in because im stumped and im hoping you guys will know where i should look. it seems like after i get on the throttle (say to merge onto a fast road when i really should wait for a bigger gap) it seems like afterwords if i have the windows open or the air on ill get a whiff of raw fuel. also, after one of those instances i immediately stopped at olive garden to meet the gf for lunch. i come out and i can smell the gas from 5 feet away. pop the hood, remove the cover and theres no gas, anywhere. not around the injectors, anywhere. i cant find it. no puddles, i even crawled under the car and looked at the fuel lines. i couldnt even smell it unless i was down wind. hopefully you guys have some answers because im as confused as all hell and the last thing i need is to come out to a piece of charcoal. thanks alot.

my best guess right now is its running too rich and its raw gas in the exhaust but it seems like the a/c is picking it up and the intake for that is by the wipers...

Keep the cover off. When you smell gas look under to hood right away. Check around the top of the injectors and where the fuel line connects to the fuel rail. Also check the vacuum line on the FPR, pull it off and smell for gas.
